ARC Locksmiths

Arc Locksmiths is a locksmiths business based in Manchester and a member of the Master Locksmiths Association. It provides locksmith services across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, with a service area that includes Manchester, Didsbury, Heaton Moor, Heaton Mersey, Stockport and Cheshire.

The business specialises in uPVC locks for windows and doors. Its main services include key cutting, emergency locksmith call out, uPVC hardware and high security cylinders. It offers a locksmith call out service for lost keys or urgent property access. Arc Locksmiths carries out security surveys for homes and businesses.

Householders dealing with jammed or ageing doors, drivers who have lost car keys, and people needing everyday key cutting form the bulk of the accounts left for this Manchester locksmith. A recurring theme is the speed of the work: key duplication is described as taking seconds or about a minute, and a snapped key is said to have been resolved almost immediately rather than needing a replacement lock.

Several reviewers describe the pricing as reasonable or cheaper than alternatives, with one commenting that a charge was waived altogether for elderly neighbours. Bob is named repeatedly as the person carrying out the work, praised for friendliness and for talking customers through options on older mechanisms, including advice on avoiding a completely new lock.

Praise also covers the ability to cut unusual keys that other places declined, to free roof bars after keys were stolen, and to adjust a uPVC door that had expanded in the heat. Reviewers describe being kept informed and given practical guidance on handling a problem themselves if it returned, and the shop is noted for holding a wide range of key blanks, with restoration work on a broken key singled out as a concrete example of the expertise on offer.
