Interlock Locksmiths Ltd

Interlock Locksmiths Ltd is a locksmith business based in Southampton. The business owner is Tim Guille, who has more than 20 years of experience as a lock technician and is CRB/DBS checked. The business is registered with Check-A-Trade and TrustATrader. It serves domestic and commercial customers throughout Hampshire.

It supplies and fits all types of locks for doors, windows, garages, and cabinets, including UPVC windows and doors, anti-snap cylinders, and key-alike systems. It provides safe supply and installation services. It also provides repairs and replacement parts for UPVC windows and doors, including composite doors, fire doors, security doors, and external doors. The business does not charge VAT. It is a genuine local locksmith, not a call centre or agency.

Householders facing snapped keys, failed mechanisms and the demands of a newly purchased property feature throughout the feedback, and Tim is the name that recurs most often. A handful of customers describe a visit arranged the same day after one call, with an arrival within the hour for a jammed lock and a prompt evening response when a key had broken in the cylinder.

A point that comes up often is that the fault was identified on sight and the likely cost set out before any work began, leaving nothing uncertain. The tasks themselves vary widely, from swapping a multi-point UPVC unit and fitting four replacement locks after a move to restoring a back door whose internal workings had failed, with spare keys cut and bifold doors serviced as part of the visit. Fair and transparent pricing is a consistent theme, and adjustments to a door that had been catching were made without extra charge.

Punctuality, a friendly manner and an efficient, tidy finish are described repeatedly, as is the patience shown to an anxious caller who preferred to make contact in writing. Repeat custom stands out, with one household returning for a second job and saying they would use nobody else, while unhurried explanations of how each lock operates round off the accounts.
