Southampton customers repeatedly highlight the speed of ACQ Locksmiths Ltd's emergency response, with several describing how quickly a locksmith arrived after they were locked out and how soon they were back inside their homes. Dougie is named in multiple accounts as friendly, approachable and professional, putting people at ease from the first enquiry onwards. Reviewers consistently describe the work as reliable and the pricing as fair and reasonable, and the door lock changes carried out after lost keys are mentioned as completed efficiently.

Communication before and after the job comes up often, with customers noting how easy it was to make contact and how clear the arrangements were. The company's emergency locksmith service is reflected in accounts of lockouts resolved within minutes and of locks replaced promptly. Tidiness and honest advice are also noted, alongside a cheerful manner that customers appreciate during stressful situations. A recurring theme is the confidence people felt after reading about previous work, and the willingness of several to say they would use Dougie again for future lock problems. Work alongside tenants and quick arrival times round out the picture.
