If I could give Abbey Gate 10 stars, I would! Perry responded immediately to my call and was able to provide support the same day, without an emergency call out charge. The job was completed professionally and efficiently and Perry is clearly an expert in his field. But what stands out is the kindness and support for my elderly parents. They had fallen foul of a scammer, who charged them over £2k for replacing a locking handle on a French door - a job, which should cost only £300. They were left feeling very uneasy about their security. Not only did Perry visit promptly to secure their door, he went above and beyond - helping my parents take photos of the broken and rusted device, which had been fitted and supporting them with advice and evidence, if they choose to take the matter to Trading Standards. Perry's kindness and support was just what my vulnerable parents needed after such shocking treatment. I can't thank Abbey Gate enough.

Called Abbey Gate early in the week, they were able to accommodate changing a lock the same week. Very quick and professional service, price was reasonable too!

Finding this locksmith was great, they were so helpful but also very experienced and knowledgeable. My lock was broken and they ordered in one for me to fit to my door, rather than insisting they come and do it themselves so I could save money. My previous locksmith fitted a cool looking handle which had a massive keyhole and looks awful. I wish I had used Abbey then. I'll only use them from now on. I highly recommend!

From the initial visit to the work being carried out, Abbey Gate provided an efficient and professional service. They changed my locks and provided me with a new pane of glass for a patio door which previously had a cat flap within it. I now feel safer and more secure in my new home. Excellent. I was informed of the arrival time. Spot on! The issue was a UPVc living room door that would not open with the key. Perry assessed the problem not to be the lock but the set up of the adjustable door hinges. He adjusted the hinges and afterwards treated the mechanism with penetrating/lubricating fluid. Once done he then cleaned up everything leaving it spotless. A job well done. Conscientious, hard working, professional and very personable. Should I need a locksmith again the Perry will be my first choice.

Abbey Gate have been fantastic. They assisted me in obtaining a key for my new flat which I’d had difficulty sourcing elsewhere. I called Abbey Gate a month or so ago for an issue with the locking mechanism on the back door. They came out within 15 minutes to take a look. Perry was very helpful and polite, he gave me a run down of where the issue might be, took the mechanism apart and gave me two options on how to fix it. He went back to the warehouse, got the part and the door was fixed the same day. Also Perry advised due to where the door is, if it is left open the door can drop so I should be careful leaving it open for a long period. Great service and friendly. Would use again.
