Had this gentleman gain us entry in the house when my half of key snapped up. He was transparent with his service charges at the outset and didn’t charge extra penny from what was agreed. Norman came round at short notice because our front door did not lock. It was an embarrassingly quick fix. He did not want to be paid for the 2 minutes he was there, but we paid him as a thanks for the quick call out service.

I called Norman at Reading Locksmiths to discuss a problem with the mechanism on a multi point locking system of a UPVC door. Norman was able to attend immediately and because he was local to me in Reading, arrived at my house very promptly. Norman had spare parts for the door lock available for an immediate repair and was able to complete the job and restore the function of the door in less than an hour. He explained costs of parts and labour in advance of progressing the repair, so very open and transparent. Based upon my very positive experience, I would recommend Reading Locksmiths.

Fantastic service again from Norman. Conservatory doors jammed shut in the 30 degrees weather - house was like an oven. Norman has the experience to know immediately what the problem was and everything resolved within a few minutes. I was expecting an expensive bill including replacement of the locking mechanism, but Norman got everything resolved without the need for any new parts and a very fair price for the job.
