A1 Locksmiths (Berkshire) Ltd

In Reading, A1 Locksmiths (Berkshire) Ltd has built a reputation through reviews that consistently highlight the expertise and friendliness of its team. A number of customers describe how staff such as Harvey, Patrick and Pete went beyond expectations, diagnosing and repairing front door locks that other tradespeople had been unable to fix.

Several accounts note punctuality and speed, with one account noting a patio door lock repaired within fifteen minutes of the team arriving on time, and another describing a non-urgent issue attended the following day and fixed quickly. Communication is a common theme: customers appreciate that questions are answered, research is carried out before a visit, and explanations are clear, including for those with limited knowledge of locks. The workshop's counter service also receives praise, particularly for key duplication and lock-related problems solved in minutes, sometimes without charge.

Tidiness and a polite, professional manner are noted across multiple accounts, along with a willingness to tackle jobs of any size. Reviewers also value the straightforward advice on ironmongery and door parts, whether items are in stock or ordered for the next day. This combination of technical skill, courtesy and reliable turnaround keeps customers returning and recommending the service to relatives and colleagues.
