City Locksmiths Bristol

City Locksmiths Bristol is an independent locksmith business established in July 2009 and is not a franchise. The owner/operator is Nick. Every locksmith is DBS checked, and the business carries £5 million public liability insurance. It offers a 24-month guarantee on work and is Checkatrade verified and NCFE certified.

The business uses non-destructive entry methods and covers every BS postcode in Bristol and surrounding areas. Services include emergency lockouts, lock installation and repair, uPVC door and window services, commercial and industrial access control, landlord services, and security assessments.

Domestic lock failures, composite door mechanisms and gate locks recur throughout the feedback for this Clifton locksmith, where Nick is the member of staff named most often. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is his readiness to diagnose a fault before charging for a call-out, with one account recalling that a photograph allowed him to guide the customer through a repair themselves rather than book a visit. Punctual attendance, frequently within a day of the initial call, features across multiple accounts, as does the honouring of a quoted price when a second problem was resolved at no extra cost.

The standard of the finished result draws consistent praise: a back door lock and mechanism replaced without mess, an old door lock repaired where renewal appeared inevitable, and a gate lock changed the next day. More than one review highlights communication around arrival, politeness on site and a friendly, knowledgeable manner that gave confidence in the advice offered. Speedy, tidy and thorough work on domestic locking hardware, from diagnosis through to the completed repair, is the constant theme running through these accounts, with Nick's name attached to almost every one.
