K Stone Auto Locksmith

K Stone Auto Locksmith is run by Mohamed Khalid Ali, a dealership-trained mechanic who spent over fifteen years as a qualified mechanic working for main dealerships across the East Midlands. He has worked as a full-time mobile auto locksmith for five years. The business holds £5 million public liability insurance. The locksmith works mostly solo, but on busier days his wife, also a qualified locksmith, works alongside him. The business is based in Highfields, Leicester.

Coverage includes the city centre, Wigston, Oadby, Blaby, Beaumont Leys and Braunstone, with call-outs further afield by arrangement. It uses dealer-level diagnostic and key programming equipment, including Smart Pro, Zed-Full Plus, Autel Diagnostics, Lonsdor, Xhorse, OBDSTAR, ACDP, and VVDI2 / Prog / MB. It covers an estimated 95% of makes and models on UK roads. Services include car key replacement, car key cutting, spare car keys, broken key repairs, emergency car unlocking, car key programming, key fob repairs, immobiliser diagnostics, and vehicle security.

Key duplication and replacement for cars runs through the accounts left for K Stone Auto Locksmith, with several customers describing spare keys cut and programmed on site after other firms had turned the job away. Khalid and Mo are named by reviewers, who repeatedly mention that quoted prices held and that the work was carried out promptly, often after a call from a roadside or driveway. A point that comes up often is the speed of arrival when keys have been locked in a vehicle, with motorists describing being back on the road shortly afterwards.

Those writing also highlight clear explanations of what would be done before work started, a manner described as friendly and professional, and replacement keys considered comparable in quality to manufacturer originals. Emergency call-outs involving keys shut in boots or broken fobs feature in the accounts, alongside the supply of new fobs for specific models. Drivers in Leicester reference being kept informed and finding the final bill lower than other quotes received. The tone across the feedback is one of trust built on punctuality and a job finished as promised.
