Locksmith Nottingham

Locksmith Nottingham has carried out lock and security work in Nottingham since 2010 and operates in partnership with Absolute Locksmiths. All locksmiths hold the NCFE Level 3 Enhanced qualification, and the entire team holds current police-checked DBS certificates.

The business is backed by £5 million public and professional liability insurance. All locks, keys, products and locksmith work are guaranteed for a minimum of six months. Free call outs and free quotes are offered. Cash and credit or debit card payments are accepted, excluding American Express.

Emergency call-outs for lock repairs, door mechanisms and key duplication for offices and homes form the core of the work described in feedback. Customers repeatedly highlight the speed of response, with several noting that a locksmith reached them within about half an hour of a call, including during the pandemic. The quality of the finished work earns consistent praise, whether the job involved replacing a stubborn door mechanism, fitting a new lock, or cutting multiple building keys that worked flawlessly.

Clients describe clear explanations of the fault and the price before any work began, with no pressure to proceed and a second pair of hands provided at no extra cost when a job proved difficult. Fair and reasonable pricing is mentioned often, as are the friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner of the tradespeople involved, who diagnose problems and resolve them on the spot. Tidiness also features, with one account of a door being cleaned down afterwards and spare keys supplied as a precaution. Reviews also point to upgraded locks fitted to prevent a repeat of the original problem, and to the reassurance of having the fault diagnosed and fixed in a single visit.
