In Edinburgh, Burgh Locksmiths has built a reputation for dependable car key work, with customers repeatedly highlighting the speed and skill of its mobile service. Alistair is named in numerous accounts, and several reviewers describe him as friendly and approachable, arriving at homes or workplaces to deal with lost, faulty or mislaid keys. Car key cutting and programming is the recurring theme, covering everything from replacement fobs and remotes to electronic keycards and gaining access to locked vehicles. A detail many reviews return to is the fair pricing, with customers noting that quotes compare favourably with main dealers.

Communication is praised before and after the job, and the work is typically completed on site and without fuss. Door lock repairs also feature, including a same-day visit to replace a faulty front door mechanism, with the issue explained clearly. Reviewers mention the tidy, efficient manner in which jobs are carried out, and the trust placed in the service. Alistair's readiness to attend a vehicle even when another breakdown provider had been called stands out as a mark of the personal approach that keeps customers returning for replacement keys and lockwork.
