Great service from Dory the locksmith. Ordered new locks and he was very courteous and professional. He went the extra mile for me and also provided me with valuable advice that saved me a few quid.

AVOID!!!! We called this locksmith out over the weekend when we were locked out, and honestly the whole experience was really frustrating. He was here for about two hours and ended up badly damaging our door in the process. We explained that we’re moving out of the property soon and that this needed fixing. He told us he’d come back on Monday, but he never showed up. After that, he stopped replying and has now blocked our number, and is denying that he caused the damage. The door was completely fine before he came, so this has been really stressful and disappointing. SAVE YOUR STRESS AND MONEY AND DONT USE HIM

I got locked out of my mine studio because the electrics in my roller shutters had tripped. I could not find the back up key for the back up system anywhere. Dorian came to save me on Sunday morning. And it was such a pleasure to meet him. Highly recommended!!!

Locked my self out of the shop and Dorian came with in half an hour, opened up, was so calm, friendly and reassured me he would sort it and was nothing to panic about! Love man, and seems very down to earth.

Brilliant service!! Dorian was able to come at very short notice, did a perfect job, and was super friendly! We had 7 door handles replaced, and the job was very reasonably priced! We would happily recommend him to anyone, and will 100% be using him again :-)

We will never use this company again, or recommend it to anyone else. Dorian first began the job of fixing the locking mechanism on our conservatory door, 2 weeks ago. At first all appeared ok but then he had to stop to fetch parts or order from abroad. He was always late and on Friday I rang several times. If he answered he kept saying he would be with us soon or was on his way, needless to say he didn’t turn up. My husband managed to fix it himself over the weekend. We had paid £100 deposit up front, for an incomplete service. I rang him this morning, Monday, and told him not to bother coming again, he said ok and hung up. We are so angry and disappointed, judging by past reviews we are not the only ones! Absolutely dreadful experience, from what we thought was a reputable, local firm!

👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻I contacted this company due to the mainly good reviews on here. Unfortunately my experience has been nothing but negative from start to finish. I was given a price to repair a door lock and 2 windows which I accepted. Dorian was over an hour late turning up which wasn't a great start. He then fitted a completely different lock to our door without discussing it first and told me the cost, which was actually nearly all the quote he gave me over the phone!!. He said he needed to get the mechanisms for the 2 windows and he would have to come back. I queried with him that how was he going to repair 2 windows with the limited budget but he turned on me and became very hostile very quickly. He also said in my initial enquiry I could pay by card which I wanted to do but he insisted on a Bank Transfer. He was more interested in telling us his family stories and boasting about his partners great wealth than listening to the facts about the job in hand. I am on an extremely limited budget and wanted to pay by credit card so I could get the funds together later. As he insisted on a Bank Transfer only, I had to get the money together unexpectedly. I queried by text later on about the outstanding window repairs and why he had fitted this weird lock to my door and he ignored my question, instead telling me as I hadn't paid him he would walk away from the windows!! This was literally 3 hours after he had done the work and with no indication from me I wasn't paying him? I was busy and he never indicated what his payment terms were. He totally mis quoted me to get the work, overcharged me for a bodged job and then became very RUDE when I dared to question him. Very bizarre and expensive experience that I would definitely never repeat. In my opinion if everything goes Dorians way he will be happy. However if you dare to question him you'll probably experience the rude, judgmental and downright weird customer service that I did. IF YOU DO USE HIM ENSURE YOU ARE MORE ACCURATE ON PRICING THAN I WAS. I have paid his astronomical bill as the lock does work however it is completely different to what I asked for. It also does not match our other doors and was far more expensive that I was quoted. I think maybe he had an old mechanism to use up stored on his electric bike that he turned up with. No van with multiple tools and different mechanisms. He had one with him that he would make work regardless of what I as the customer wanted. If I could I would give no stars I would as his attitude was so unprofessional. I rarely write reviews but this review an outlet for my sheer dis-belief of my awful experience with Dorian.
