KC Brighton Locksmiths

KC Brighton Locksmiths is a family-run business operated by a father and son team. The company was established in 1985 and has served Brighton & Hove and East Sussex for over 40 years. Its legal or trading name is K C Locksmiths & Son. The business serves both residential and commercial customers.

It uses non-destructive methods wherever possible. Free quotes are offered on all locksmith services. Main services include emergency lockouts, lock repairs and replacements, UPVC door and window lock repairs, security upgrades, and new lock installations.

KC Brighton Locksmiths draws consistent praise across Brighton for the speed with which jobs are handled, with reviewers repeatedly describing arrival within minutes at unsociable hours and problems resolved without fuss. Key cutting is a common theme, one customer noting a set completed on the spot, and door repairs recur, including a back door that would not lock and was fitted with a replacement quickly. Customers in several reviews describe the pricing as fair or better than anticipated, with quotes given before work began and no unexpected additions afterwards.

Communication is a point that comes up often, covering calls answered straight away, clear time frames given for arrival and helpful advice offered on the doorstep. Luke is named specifically and described as friendly and professional, and the wider manner of those attending is characterised as courteous and reassuring, particularly for customers locked out late at night away from home. The standard of the finished work, whether a repaired mechanism or a duplicated key, is described as thorough and lasting, and the tidiness of the approach is noted. Emergency call-outs, key duplication and lock replacement form the bulk of the accounts.
