Auto Key Centre

Auto Key Centre is a locksmith business based in Newcastle upon Tyne with over 40 years of experience in vehicle key cutting and programming. Its team is fully trained in providing vehicle key replacements and remote keys. It can program keys for all types of vehicles, including all the top manufacturers. It offers a price match for like-for-like quotes using genuine parts from other companies in the North East.

Its auto locksmiths gain entry using non-destructive methods. Customers must prove they are the registered keeper of the vehicle by providing the V5 Form and driving license. Services include transponder key and remote programming, non-destructive vehicle entry, lost and stolen key replacement, and immobiliser and ECU faults.

Recurring praise for this Newcastle upon Tyne locksmith centres on the speed and competence with which car key faults are resolved. Several buyers describe arriving with a broken ignition key or faulty immobiliser and leaving with the problem corrected, one Mazda 2 owner having a failed key recut and rehoused while waiting. Motorists locked out of their vehicles form another group, with an engineer despatched the same day and the driver soon mobile again.

The guidance given before any work starts is repeatedly called honest and useful, and the sums charged are described as reasonable rather than inflated, even when a repair takes longer than anticipated. Reviewers also mention the friendly, professional manner of the team and the reliability of the finished result, noting that replacement keys functioned exactly as they should and that faults did not return. The same handful of themes runs through the accounts: prompt attendance, workmanlike repairs, dependable advice and value for money on jobs that other motorists might expect to cost considerably more.
